Hello and welcome to the Union-Endicott Wrestling Club PeeWee page.  We are very happy to encourage the youth of our community to try wrestling as a sport.  Wrestling is the oldest sport known to man.  And training in scholastic wrestling is the most excellent way for athletes of all ages to condition both the body and the mind.

Youth wrestling with the Union-Endicott Wrestling Club will prepare you for your scholastic wrestling career and/or make you the best you can be at your other chosen sport(s).  The wrestling season is a long one, but because of the individual nature of wrestling competitions, less emphasis is placed on attendance at practice and tournaments then you would have experienced with team sports such as baseball and football.

Beginning the first Monday in November and running through March, wrestling is the perfect activity to establish and maintain your child's physical fitness throughout the long winter months.  There are generally three practice sessions per week with a competition or tournament on the weekend - none of these are mandatory.

While wrestling is certainly not for everyone, we encourage you to experience what wrestling has to offer, and decide for yourself.  Please download and read the brochure "Parent's Guide to Youth Wrestling" go to http://www.youthwrestlingguide.com for more information and to download the guide.
