Announcements:

Mr. Chad Stephens has been named coach of the modified team and has taken over for Hall of Fame coach "I" (Dominic Iacovazzi) beginning with this 2009-2010 season. Coach Stephens has spent the last couple of seasons as a volunteer assistant in the Union-Endicott JV/Varsity room working directly with head coaches Giacche and Ruff becoming very familiar with their expectations and techniques. 

Coach Stephens comes from a wrestling family and has been wrestling since before he was able to walk.  His father and his older brother Ralph were our peewee coaches for many years.  Chad and his brothers Mike and Ralph all had successful wrestling careers for Johnson City.

Coach Stephens is assisted by Coach Boleno.

Information/Instructions:

Because of the construction under way at Jennie F. Snapp middle school, modified wrestling practice will be held at the T.J. Watson elementary school.

Modified wrestlers should bring everything they need for practice and home to their last class (i.e. their homework, books, coats, wrestling gear etc.). After dismissal from their last class they will load the bus for T.J. (between 2:20-2:30). Upon arrival at T.J. Watson elementary they will have a study hall until practice begins at 3PM.

There will be NO transport provided back to Jennie F. so parents will need to collect their wrestlers at T.J. Watson at 5 O'Clock.
